In accordance with the bylaws of the Travis County Medical Society, Lisa Ellis, MD, chair of the Nominating Committee submits the slate of nominees for 2012.
Additional nominations for any elective position may be made on written petition of not less than twenty-five members eligible to vote provided that such petition is received in the TCMS office at 4300 N Lamar, Austin, TX 78756 no later than October 14, 2011. Once nominations are closed, the elections will be conducted via written and/or electronic ballot distributed on or about October 17, 2011.
The results of the elections will be announced at the TCMS annual meeting on December 1, 2011.

The following proposed amendments will be voted upon by the TCMS general membership via mail/electronic ballot beginning October 17, 2011. They are hereby submitted in advance to the membership in accordance with Section 14.11 of the Bylaws, along with the recommendation of your Executive Board that they be adopted.

The following physicians have applied for TCMS membership. Under the provisions of the bylaws, names of applicants are presented to the membership for review. Written objections to the applicant’s membership must be directed to the TCMS Board of Ethics within 30 days of publication.
