TMA Winter Conference

January 29-30

As the face of health care continues to change, physician leaders are looking for ways to stay on the cutting edge of the conversation. As a physician leader, what role will you play in this transformation?

Regardless of your interest – from advocacy to leadership to health care trends – the 2010 Winter Conference offers many opportunities to grow and learn. Join your colleagues from across the state for a weekend of camaraderie,
training, and CME credit. This year the conference will be held at The University of Texas at Austin AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, just north of the TMA building.

On Saturday, Governor Rick Perry will speak on Access to Care in Texas; Chip Heath, author and professor of Organizational Behavior, Stanford Graduate School of Business will speak on Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard; and Dr. Willarda Edwards, National Medical Association president and Dr. James Rohack, AMA president will lead a panel discussion on Health Care Disparities. For additional information or to register, visit www.texmed.org.
