The eight-week program (meeting once a week) is designed for all health care professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, therapists, social workers, technicians, emergency personnel and their support staff.

The classes develop beginning, intermediate and advanced conversational skills in general Spanish with a concentration on health care situations while grammar takes a back seat. All handouts are included in the tuition cost; no textbook is required.

Next Month: Dell Med Grand Rounds
Dell Med Grand Rounds is a signature CME-accredited event series that features world-renowned speakers who are leaders in delivering and teaching about value-based health care.

The Jan. 15 installment speaker is Gil Welch, M.D., MPH, senior investigator at the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Looking at trends in a variety of cancers, Welch will explore the differences between an epidemic of a disease versus an epidemic of a diagnosis — and why those differences can make for misleading stories reported to the public.

Please register to attend. A light lunch will be provided.
